Can we use a teleprompter for testimonial responses? We only recommend using a teleprompter for direct in-camera scripted videos. You may get the content wording exact but most people do not come across as authentic when trying to read candid responses to questions from a teleprompter. It is better to be truly candid and natural. Experience with a teleprompter is recommended.

Are there additional fees after a project?Simply no, TAPS Media has a bottom line pricing structure. Whatever budget we agree to in the production scope of work agreement, is what you will spend. If there are any additional dues because of production changes, this will be discussed and agreed upon between both parties.

How much does it cost to make a video?Production costs vary based on a variety of factors (crew members needed, equipment needed to complete the project, number of production days, final length of video, location, animation, editing time, narration, voice overs, music, etc). Projects can either be project based, which is usually the case with bigger productions; a day rate for filming or time spent editing. It's best to speak with us as each project is unique.

How long does it take to make a video?A video will take time to produce, so let’s give you a better idea of how a project is broken down. The pre-production phase involves developing a concept, scouting a location, storyboarding, finding talent, and the overall theme for your project. Lots of important planning, scheduling, and logistics happen during this stage of production. The general organization determines how smoothly everything else goes from that point on. On average this usually takes about 1-3 weeks but this process can take longer depending on the project scope. The production includes final preparations and the days of shooting. A shot list serves as a point of reference during the shoot ensuring all shots are covered. Communication is important during this time so both parties are happy with the images captured to ensure the project is heading in the right direction. The post-production phase involves editing hours of footage down to minutes or seconds. This process includes cutting the story, color correcting, color grading, audio mixing, audio mastering, special effects, creating graphics and/or animated titles. This process may take up to 2-6 weeks depending on the length of the final-cut.
